Don’t get me wrong – you need tools like scales. But you need to practice them in a way which is similar to how you’ll actually use them when you improvise.
This is kind of obvious, but many players (including me) fail to do it. They practice in a way which is completely different to how they’ll play when they jam with other musicians.
So, what kind of scale exercises will help you develop into a stronger improviser and equip you with the knowledge you need at the same time?
That’s what I’ll show you in this video lesson. You’ll learn 3 exercises which will help you learn your scales perfectly, and prepare you for when you use them on the bandstand.
So jump in now, and discover how you can massively boost your fretboard knowledge, your improvisational ability, and also your musical ear in Guitar Soloing School lesson #5!
